Founder Info

Jason Boyer, FAIA is an architect, developer, licensed contractor, and founder of Boyer Vertical, a design-led real estate development firm integrating architecture, development, and construction through the Architect as Developer model. He holds an Arizona KB-1 Dual Commercial and Residential General Contractor’s License (ROC #333574), underscoring his ability to deliver projects from concept through completion.

Jason’s debut project, artHAUS, a 25-unit urban infill community in Phoenix, earned a Builder’s Choice & Custom Home Design Grand Award and an AIA (American Institute of Architects) Arizona Distinguished Architecture Honor Award. It is widely recognized as a model for missing middle housing.

His work, including the nationally recognized KARMA community, reflects a commitment to sustainability, timeless design, and community impact.

He currently serves on the AIA Phoenix Metro and AIA Arizona boards and is an active member of ULI Arizona’s AIR (Adaptive Reuse, Infill, and Revitalization) Local Product Council. In 2022, Jason was elevated to the AIA College of Fellows.
